A Little Pick Me Up

These daffodils are doing their very best to cheer me up after I received the very sad news yesterday that my uncle has passed away. He's suffered from Alzheimer's for quite a few years, such a terrible disease.

  14. Thank you so much for all your kind comments.

Kathy - I do feel for your poor neighbour too. My uncle got so bad that he lived his last years in a home, it just got too much for my auntie who also suffers with her health. Of course, then came the guilt that she was unable to care for him herself. Alzheimer's affects all the family.

Scented Sweetpeas - What you say is so true, although my uncle was here in body, he certainly wasn't in mind. As you say, they go before they die.
